Garver’s experienced Water Team, a concentrated group of experts in water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure planning and design, is seeking a Water Engineering Intern to join our team in Charlotte, NC for Summer 2025. This intern will gain real-world experience in design while working in a fast-paced, professional setting. Join our group of professionals who are working with communities throughout the region and are developing solutions for their water needs.
Internship Description:
- Work alongside and be mentored by experienced water professionals and industry leaders
- Gain real-world environmental and civil engineering experience through assisting with a wide array of water projects.
- Receive training from our experienced water staff and project managers.
- Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry.
- Visit some of Garver’s Water project sites

Requirements:
- Candidates must be pursuing a civil or environmental engineering bachelor’s degree in an ABET accredited program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Interest in designing water and wastewater infrastructure.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with AutoCAD or Revit.
